So basically I'm a very weird, oddly depressing, quiet person... kind of at a crossroads in life. Not much else to say about that.

I'm a movie and TV junkie. I'm big on music and reading. Some of my favorite shows are...House, Grey's anatomy, General Hospital...Lots of Medical drama, I used to like ER a lot too. More fave shows are The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Office, Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, Venture Brothers, Peep Show...can't think of anything else current... I have a TON of favorite past shows, I'll give a few... Kids in the Hall, Stangers with Candy, Felicity, 21 Jumpstreet, Arrested Development, Firefly, Wonderfalls, Sports Night, Six feet under, Oz...I'm sure theres more can't think of anything now.


Have a few favorite movies...One of my all time faves is Wonderboys, I thought it was really underrated. I just love the whole feel of it. Twin Falls Idaho, great flick, has a great look and I just love it. Its kind of a quiet movie. You can count on me, great acting, mark ruffalo is freakin great in it. Jesus' Son....everyone has to see this movie, its amazing...to me at least. About a boy, one of the rare movies that was almost as good as the book...and its got Hugh Grant in, whose dreamy despite that whole sleeping with whores thing...I'd still take him...but I'm weird. Amelie with Audrey tatou cutest movie ever....the knome thing alone would have made me love this movie. Flashdance...its cheesetastic...every minute of it I love, seriously though anything about a stripper/welder I'm so there. Pretty in Pink...a classic....HOORAY DUCKIE!! She so should have picked duckie...blane was a doosh and what kind of name is Blane? Thats a major appliance not a name... Metropolis...german silent film...I cna't even explain why I love this movie but I do its like an odd dream and just silent movie acting is appealing to me anyway its just entertaining to me in some weird way...Nosfertu is good to...another silent movie, for my money he's the creepest version of a vampire I've ever seen. Lost in translation...fantastic...Bill Murray rocks my world. One of my newest favorites is Little miss sunshine...hilarious through out the whole movie. Ummmm...can't think of anymore though I know there is more.


Okay so if this wasn't boring enough I'm going to share some of my favorite books not in any particular order. "Eating Chinese Food Naked" LOved this book, I just felt everything she wrote. "Me talk pretty someday" Hilarious, and I think the best David Sedaris Book...Naked is good too, but "pretty" is my favorite of his. Anything by Nick Hornby is good...About a boy, How to be good, long way down, high fidelity...all winners in my book, just love his writing style. Augusten Burroughs is quite fantastic....and a movie of his first book is coming out!!! So freaking excited. Another book that really stuck with me was "Bee Season" really fantastic how each family member is explored. I haven't seen the movie version of Bee Season, I heard it sucked ass...but its in my Netflix queue anyway. The Bell Jar is one of my absolute favorties... I had always heard about Sylvia plath, read a couple poems but I wasn't blown away...then I read the Bell Jar, and I get it... she's great. Micheal Chabon "Mysteries of Pittsburgh" and "Wonderboys" are both fantastic. "less than zero" and rules of attraction" are both great Bret easton ellis books. Laurie Notaro is quite funny, I like her stuff quite a bit. Oh a book that I found wrenching was "when I was five I killed myself"...wrenching's not usually considered a good thing...but I'm kind of a drama junkie...hence my love of soaps, although this book wasn't soapy it actually felt very real. Theres so many more...but I'll leave it as these.
